An authentic sushi heaven deep in Cranston. A counter allows sushi patrons to observe the chef at work. The wide selection of sushi ranges from cucumber or Tamango ($2.50) to the "Rock 'n' Roll" special (tuna, yellow tail, flying fish roe and seaweed powder) for $8. Two dozen appetizers are on the menu, and combination sushi and sashimi plates are also available. Especially delicious (and plentiful) is the chicken teriyaki ($9.50), served in a thick sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds. The shrimp yakisoba is also impressive ($8). Save room for the homemade ginger ice cream ($1.75), very mild in its vanilla base.
